2016 Overland Park Art at the Center Juried Exhibition

The 2016 Overland Park Art at the Center Juried Exhibition features all manner of art from painting and photography to sculpture, collage and textiles. Digitally altered photography is welcome. The exhibition runs April 1 through June 12, 2016, with an opening reception on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The 2016 juror is William Rose.

Awards are sponsored by the Friends of Overland Park Arts: Best of Show - $2,000; Second Place - $1,000; Third Place - $500; Three Honorable Mention Awards - $250 each; Six Juror Choice Awards - $50 each; and a People's Choice Award - $200 to be selected at the Opening Reception. Entry fee is $25 for up to 4 images. Entry deadline is February 22, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Art at the Center is a not-for-profit gallery space offering local, regional and national artists, both professional and amateur, an opportunity to showcase their work. All art is for sale unless otherwise noted. A 25% gallery commission and sales taxes apply. All accounts will be settled within 30 days of the conclusion of the exhibition. The gallery is located at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center, 11902 Lowell Ave. (119th & Lowell). Gallery hours: Mon.-Fri. 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sat. 7 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Closed Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is free.
