2016 Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 52nd Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition presents an opportunity for artists to show and sell their artwork to the public in a one-day exhibit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting community art programs throughout the year.

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older. Artists may submit up to two works of art. Original artwork only—works must have been created within the last two years and cannot be works done in school, under instructor supervision, or copied from published photos. Two-dimensional artwork size limit is 36" wide x 48" high (including frame). Three-dimensional works must be 30 lbs. or less. Work must be for sale. A 30% donation to the Newport Beach Arts Foundation will be accepted on all sales.

Entry fee is $30 for one entry or $40 for two entries. Entry deadline is June 3, 2016, or until capacity is reached. Artist delivery of artwork is Friday, June 17, 3:00-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 18, 9:00-10:30 a.m. The art exhibit and sale takes place Saturday, June 18, 1:00-6:00 p.m., with an awards reception at 4:30 p.m. Artists must retrieve their artwork at 6:00 p.m. on June 18.

Awards are offered in three categories: Painting/Mixed Media, Sculpture, and Photography (1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100 in each category). Additional awards include Juror's Choice ($100) and People's Choice ($100). For questions, contact [email protected].
