About This Call
The Loveland Art Studio Tour is a city-wide, self-guided walking/driving tour offering artists and galleries the opportunity to build their audience by demonstrating their skills, educating visitors, and welcoming collectors and patrons into their studios and collaborating locations over two weekends in October (October 8 & 9 and October 15 & 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Eligibility is limited to artists with a Loveland, Colorado mailing address. Entry fee is $25 (non-refundable application fee). Participants must submit 3-5 images of their work. Individual artists pay $150 plus the $25 application fee; multiple artists (up to 4) at a single location pay $250 per group plus $25 per artist; galleries pay $325 plus $25; teaching studios pay $325 plus $25. Full payment is due June 30. Artists may participate in one or both weekends. All applications go through a jurying process, and the jurors' decision is final.
The event provides regional promotion through print and digital advertising, a 10,000-copy full-color guide book with artist thumbnails and location maps, a preview piece displayed in the Loveland Museum Foote Gallery, an artists' reception on September 22, promotional materials, website coverage with personalized artist information, and directional signage. Artists must have a Loveland mailing address, keep their location open and staffed during contracted hours, distribute a minimum of 50 postcards or rack cards, ensure adequate parking and safe conditions, obtain necessary sales licenses, and are responsible for their own liability insurance. A $15 deposit is required for directional signs, refundable upon return.
