About This Call

This exhibition explores themes of identity and self-perception. Artists are invited to consider questions such as: What makes you unique? How do you identify yourself by gender, race, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation? Is identity hardwired or can it be changed? Works can be representational or non-representational, including self-portraits, portraits of others, or explorations of any identity-related themes.

All local, national, and international artists are welcome to submit, including both professional and amateur artists working in multiple mediums. Work must be able to be hung on a wall and cannot exceed 4 feet (48 inches) in size. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted. Jewelry, video, and sculpture are not accepted at this time.

Entry fee is $25.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee per submission. Artists may submit between 1 and 15 images. The application deadline is February 8, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
