About This Call
Fe Gallery invites all local and national artists, professional and amateur of all genres, to submit original interpretations of a Fable, Fairy Tale, Folktale, Legend, or Myth.
Requirements: Submit 1-6 images of original artwork. For 2D artwork, maximum size is 60 x 60 inches with total weight not exceeding 70 pounds. For 3D artwork, maximum size is 48 x 48 x 48 inches, not to exceed 70 pounds for floor installation. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted. Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece; submit only one image of the entire work.
Entry fee is $15.00 for the first image; each additional image is $5.00 (maximum six images). Artists are responsible for delivery of works to and from the gallery. Artist notification: June 30, 2016. Art delivery: September 26-30, 2016, 9am-4pm. Exhibition dates: October 8 - December 2, 2016. Artist opening reception: October 8, 2016, 6pm-9pm. First place and honorary awards will be determined by jury and public vote.
