2016 Evendale Juried Photography Exhibit

The Evendale Cultural Arts Center presents the 2016 Juried Evendale Photography Exhibition, taking place October 14-16, 2016. Up to seventy juror-selected photographs will be featured, with cash awards given in multiple categories. A new Student Category is available for entrants under 18. The juror is David Schmidt, founder of Cincygram and photography instructor at the Cincinnati Art Museum.

Photographers (professional and amateur, 18 years or older) living within a 50-mile radius of Evendale are eligible to submit. A maximum of five photographs can be submitted. Entry fee is $10 per entry; students 18 and under receive a $5 discount with coupon code STUDENT2016. Evendale residents who submit by the September 19 deadline are free of charge. Awards include: Best of Show ($100), 2nd Place ($75), 3rd Place ($50), and Honorable Mentions ($25). Photographs will be judged in the categories of Landscape, People, Animals, Floral, and Abstract. Special consideration will be given to photographs shot in Evendale.

Final prints must be framed and ready to hang with wire (no sawtooth hangers or canvas prints). All accepted entries must be personally delivered to the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, 10500 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241 on Tuesday, October 11 from 1-7 pm. Opening Night Reception is Friday, October 14 from 6-9 pm. The exhibition continues October 15 & 16 from 12-4 pm each day. Notification of accepted images will be emailed the week of September 19. Photos may be picked up after the exhibit closes or on Monday, October 17 from 1-6 pm.
