About This Call
Calling all chalk artists for the 2016 Centennial Chalk Art Festival. The event takes place September 24th & 25th, 2016 at Centennial Center Park, just outside Denver, Colorado. Both amateur and professional juried artists are needed to create pastel chalk paintings on pavement.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided for all artists, along with a small chalk kit. The event features live entertainment, artisan crafters, and local food trucks.
Work sample requirements: Submit 2-10 images and/or 0-10 videos (minimum 2 total samples required). Entry deadline is September 10, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. For questions, contact Becky Ford at [email protected] or (303) 777-6887.
