About This Call
Las Laguna Gallery is seeking abstract works in a variety of mediums for the Artistic Independence exhibition. Artists are invited to submit works in Abstract Expressionism or Neo-Expressionism. All local, national, and international artists—professional and amateur—working in any medium are welcome to apply.
Accepted mediums include acrylic, airbrush, assemblage, charcoal, color pencil, collage, digital art, drawings, encaustic, graphite, illustration, mixed media, new media, oil, painting, pastel, photo, and photography. Work must be able to be hung on a wall and sizes up to 4 feet (48 inches maximum) are acceptable. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted. Jewelry and sculpture are not eligible for this exhibition.
Entry fee is $35 for the first image submission, with an additional $5 per image for each additional image (up to 20 images maximum). Artist notification will be sent on March 15, 2016. Art delivery dates are March 30 to April 5, 2016. The exhibition runs April 7 to April 30, 2016.
