2016 Art for the View - An Exhibition Celebrating Artists with Physical Disabilities

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is seeking artists with physical disabilities from around the world to participate in this exhibition. The exhibition is open to all living artists, regardless of experience or formal training, who have a physical disability. All work for consideration must have been created after the onset of disability. There are no entry fees. Disabilities will not be taken into consideration during judging.

Eligible formats include paintings, drawings, digital art, fiber art, photographs, and sculpture. All artwork must be original or numbered fine art prints in limited editions of 50 or less, and must have been completed within the last five years. Each artist may submit a maximum of five images, along with a resume or C.V., biography, artist statement, and past reviews if available. The entry deadline is June 15, 2016. Accepted and non-accepted artists will be notified the week of August 1, 2016. The exhibition runs from October 21 to December 21, 2016.

In the event of a sale, the artist will be paid the listed artwork price less 25 percent. Accepted artists will receive shipping instructions and are responsible for insuring artwork during transit to and from the exhibition.
