About This Call
The School of Photographic Arts and Sciences invites all undergraduate and graduate students to submit up to two pieces of creative work created for any photo school course since June 1, 2014 for the 2015 Student Honors Show. Faculty will jury entries electronically using the Call For Entry (CaFE) website.
Submissions may include images (JPEG format, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, 72ppi resolution, 5MB maximum, RGB color space in sRGB), series (two or three related images in a single file), books (submit JPEG of title/cover page and URL if displayed online, or contact Nanette Salvaggio to drop off physical copy), or video (hosted on Vimeo or YouTube with JPEG title image uploaded). Work produced by a team of students may be entered if other photo students are part of the production team and the work was made for a photo course.
Up to 20 Purchase Prizes will be awarded, with winners receiving a financial prize in exchange for purchase of their work by the sponsor. The traditional prize amount is $150 but may vary. Winning entries will be announced at the opening of the Student Honors Show on Wednesday, May 13. Accepted work must be mounted or framed and turned in for display no later than May 4. Applicants will be notified of acceptance via email on April 27. The call for entry is open April 10 through April 17. For questions, contact Nanette Salvaggio at [email protected].
