About This Call
The 2015 MAC Art Auction is a juried silent and live auction event taking place during a gala dinner at the Davenport Hotel. Artists are encouraged to submit two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork including watercolors, oils, photography, acrylics, drawings, collage, digital art, bronzes, sculptures, and carvings.
Artists may submit up to six pieces to be juried; a maximum of two pieces from any artist may be accepted into the live auction. Artists are asked to establish a reasonable reserve price. All proceeds from this event benefit the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture. Artists whose work is accepted are entitled to purchase one ticket to the Dinner and Auction Event for $50.00. Artists whose work is accepted and who donate 100% of the sale proceeds to the Museum will receive a complimentary $100.00 ticket to the event. A high quality catalogue will showcase the works accepted into the auction and will be available on the website and provided to attendees before or at the event. Dr. Paul Manoguerra, Director of the Jundt Art Museum at Gonzaga University, will serve as juror.
