2015 Loveland Art Studio Tour

The 2015 Loveland Art Studio Tour is a curated, city-wide self-guided walking/driving tour offering artists the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, educate visitors, and welcome collectors and patrons into their studios over two weekends in October (October 10-11 and October 17-18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Eligibility and Requirements: Artist studios must have a Loveland mailing address. Only approved artists' work may be exhibited or offered for sale at the location during the tour. Teaching studios may include student work if students apply separately. Preference is given to working studios providing demonstrations on both weekends. Locations must be open and staffed for published hours on contracted weekends. A minimum of 50 Loveland Art Studio Tour postcards or rack cards must be distributed by each artist. Parking must be available within reasonable distance of the location. Personal liability insurance is recommended.

Fees and Participation: Individual artist participation is $175 plus $25 application fee (non-refundable), with payment due June 15. Returning 2014 artists pay $150 (application fee still required). Gallery participation is $325 plus $25 application fee. Teachers pay $150 plus $25 application fee; students pay $25 plus $25 application fee. All participants receive one thumbnail ad in the brochure, one piece in the Loveland Museum Preview Show, regional promotion (print/digital ads, Facebook), 7,000-10,000 full-color brochures, Meet the Artists Reception (May 27), Opening Night Reception (October 9), promotional materials, website coverage, and a Wrap-up Party (November 8). Work samples must include a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 total samples (images, audio, or video). All applications undergo a judging/curating process; the Curator's decision is final.
