2015 Louisville National Juried Photography Show

The Louisville Art Association presents the 24th Annual National Juried Photography Show and Sale, held at the Louisville Center for the Arts, a renovated Victorian-era red brick schoolhouse built circa 1904. The show provides an elegant gallery setting to compete, display, and sell artwork.

Entry Deadline: April 11, 2015. Show Dates: May 30 – June 7, 2015. Entry fee is $35 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image (maximum 6 entries per person). Digital entries only in JPEG format, 1920 pixels along longest edge, SRGB color space, 90 DPI, file size less than 5 megabytes. Framed work limited to 4 feet on longest side. Work must be original and suitable for a general audience of all ages.

Entry categories include: Digitally Designed (BW and Color), People (Color only), Animal & Wildlife (Color only), Nature Created (Color only), Human Made (Color only), Still Life and Abstracts (Color only), and Black and White. Over $7,000 in total cash and other prizes available, including Best of Show ($500), People's Choice ($100), 7 First Place awards ($200 each by category), and 12 Artistic Achievement Awards ($100 each). Judge: Eli Vega, award-winning photographer with over twenty years of experience. Accepted work may display up to 10 pieces of matted bin work or cards for sale, with 25% commission charged on all sales. Awards Reception: May 30, 2015. Sponsors' Demo Day: May 31, 2015.
