2015 EAFA Open Juried Abstract Show

The 2015 EAFA Open Juried Abstract Show is open to all artists internationally. The exhibition runs from March 2 to May 1, 2015 at the EAFA Gallery in the Seattle Design Center, 5701 Sixth Avenue South, Suite P292, Seattle, WA 98108.

Artists may submit up to three pieces of 2-D artwork. All artwork must be at least 8 inches x 8 inches (not including frame) with outer dimensions not exceeding 7 feet in either direction (including frame). Submissions are online only via CaFÉ. Images must be in JPEG format, 72 pixels per inch, with 1920 pixels minimum on the longest side and medium compression. Entry fees are $30 for EAFA members or $35 for non-members for one artwork, with additional fees for additional pieces ($5 per artwork). The entry deadline is February 9, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified by email on February 16, 2015.

The show features over $1,200 in awards: First Place $500, Second Place $400, and Third Place $300, plus additional awards. The juror is Ryan James, owner and curator of Ryan James Fine Art in Kirkland, WA. Hand delivery of accepted artwork is February 28, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. The reception and awards ceremony is March 21, 2015 from 5-9 p.m., with award presentation at 7:30 p.m. Artists shipping work must use Phoenix Art Restoration and Framing, with an additional $40 service fee per accepted work.
