2015 Crooked Tree Arts Center Members Show

The 2015 Crooked Tree Arts Center Members Show is a juried exhibition open to all CTAC members 18 years or older. The exhibition will be presented at Crooked Tree Arts Center in the Carnegie Library Building located at 322 6th Street in Traverse City, Michigan, from August 14 through October 17, 2015. Monetary prizes will be awarded in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250. The exhibit opening on Friday, August 14, is open to participating artists, members and their guests, with awards announced between 5–7 p.m.

All mediums are accepted, including those primarily based on photographic techniques. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center, Petoskey or Traverse City. Each artist may submit a maximum of two images for judging. The entry fee is $20.00 per artist. Digital images must be submitted in JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, at 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and no larger than 5 MB. Artists must include the medium or description of process, title, size and price of the work. All work must be for sale, and prices cannot be altered once submitted to the jury.

Accepted work must be delivered August 3–8 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Works to be hung on walls must be properly framed, wired and ready for hanging. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than June 15, 2015. Work can be picked up October 19–24, 2015, between 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Work not picked up by December 1, 2015, becomes property of the Crooked Tree Arts Center. A 40% commission goes to CTAC and 60% to the artist for sold work, with commission checks mailed by November 10, 2015. A handling cost of $25 per artist applies for shipped work.
