2015 Celebrating the Abstract, Orange County Creatives

Abstract Art allows both the artist and the viewer to experience emotion far beyond what the typical representational piece of art can convey. Orange County Creatives Gallery invites submissions of abstract work in all 2 dimensional art forms including but not limited to painting, drawing, illustration, mixed media, and photography. All artwork must be original art; no reproductions will be considered.

Accepted work will be on display May 4-29, 2015, with an opening reception on March 7, 6-9pm. The gallery is located in Laguna Beach, a premier art community and bustling tourist destination. Please keep artwork under 40" on the longest side. All art must be wired for hanging. Unframed canvases must be gallery wrapped and wired. All frames must be well constructed and wired for hanging. Art not properly wired for hanging cannot be displayed.

This call is open to artists internationally, including early-career artists, students, amateurs, and established artists. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submissions should include 1-5 images of work samples. Entry deadline is April 15, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
