2014 Scott County Art Crawl

The Savage Arts Council presents the fifth annual Scott County Art Crawl on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 9AM–5PM. The event is centrally located in Savage, MN with more than 30 artist booths displaying and selling original paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass art and more. This is an indoor show. Booths are limited to 12' x 12', with additional 12' x 12' space available at $30 each. Artists can check-in at The Depot, Savage, MN on Highway 13 between 6:45–8:30 AM. Booth artists receive a free box lunch and post-show wine reception.

Eligibility: Fine art and fine craft artists featuring original handmade artwork. Artists living and/or working in Scott County have priority. Artists outside Scott County will be accepted based on space availability. Artwork should demonstrate the artist's ability to create one-of-a-kind pieces that art buyers cannot find elsewhere. Artists must be in attendance at their booth to handle their own displays, set-up, tear-down, artwork sales, and sales tax collection and reporting.

Entry fee is $65, which includes a $20 Savage Arts Council membership. All fees are due by September 30, 2014. Applicants must submit 1–5 images in JPEG format at 72 ppi resolution, 1920 pixels on the longest side, and less than 2MB file size. One image will be selected for the Art Crawl map, social media, and marketing materials. Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for sales tax collection and reporting. All work must be original, handcrafted work designed and executed by the exhibiting artist. The Savage Arts Council, host sponsors, and volunteers are not responsible for loss or damage to artwork. Artists are encouraged to donate a piece of work valued at $25–40 for Savage Arts Council holiday fundraising.
