2014 PUNCH International Juried Show

PUNCH Gallery presents an international juried exhibition taking place November and December 2014. Located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle, the gallery provides an opportunity to gain exposure within the Northwest regional art scene.

Artists from any country may submit work in any medium, including traditional media, crafts, experimental genres, video, sound, or installation. Complicated installation procedures may require the artist to assist with installation. Members of PUNCH are not eligible to enter. Each artist may submit up to 10 entries total, with video and audio entries each limited to a maximum of 6 entries. Entry fees are $15 for the first image or media file and $5 for each additional image or media file. Work must be able to fit through the gallery's front door (81"x40"). Entries must be submitted using the CaFÉ entry system with JPEG files for 2-D and 3-D works, .mov or .mp4 format for video, and .mp3 format for sound files.

All accepted artists will receive reimbursement for return shipping and a commemorative prize medal. Additional awards include: Juror's Choice Award $500, PUNCH Choice Award $500, and People's Choice Award $500. The jurors are SuttonBeresCuller, a collaborative trio of artists from Seattle. Accepted work must be received by October 31, 2014. The exhibition opens November 6, 2014 with an opening reception and award announcement, and closes December 20, 2014. Following the closing, work will be repacked and shipped back to artists or may be picked up at the gallery with prior arrangement. PUNCH will retain a 35% commission on all artwork sales. Artists are responsible for carrying insurance for their works; PUNCH will not be responsible for damage, theft, or loss. Return shipping will be covered by PUNCH up to $150, with work insured for return shipping up to $1,000 in value.
