2014 Public Art Network Year in Review

Since 2000, the Public Art Network Year in Review has annually recognized outstanding public art projects through an open call submission and juror selection process. Selected jurors review hundreds of project applications and develop a "year in review" presentation of projects from across the country to honor during the Public Art & Placemaking Preconference of the Annual Convention. The PAN Year in Review is the only national program that specifically recognizes public art projects. Both temporary and permanent public art is eligible. Each year's selected projects are available on the online store and include a PowerPoint presentation, data and project list, and hundreds of photos that serve as advocacy and educational tools.

Applications must be submitted through CaFÉ at http://www.callforentry.org/ by April 18, 2014 at 11:59:59 PM Mountain Time. Projects selected by jurors will be presented at the Americans for the Arts Public Art & Placemaking Preconference in Nashville, TN, on June 12-13, 2014. Applicants may submit up to 20 projects completed in calendar year 2013. Each application must include exactly six digital images of the completed public art project (one image per JPEG file), a project description of no more than 150 words, and artist(s) name(s), commissioning and funding entities, project title, location, materials, budget, and contact information for all parties. Up to two video submissions per application may be accepted. There is no application fee.
