2014 Orange County Creatives: Red

Red is passion; it is rage; it is joy, grief, destruction, life, heat, pain, healing. Using the medium of your choice, embrace "Red" and its many shades of meaning.

Orange County Creatives Gallery is located in Laguna Beach, a premier art community and bustling summer destination. Accepted work will be on display September 3-26, 2014, including during the First Thursday Art Walk on September 5. "Red" is open to all 2-dimensional art forms including but not limited to painting, drawing, illustration, mixed media, and photography. All artwork must be original art; no reproductions or giclee will be considered. Unframed canvases must be gallery wrapped and wired. All frames must be well constructed and wired for hanging. Art not properly wired for hanging cannot be displayed.

Orange County Creatives Gallery embraces talent rather than a specific genre or medium and accepts work from early-career artists, students, amateurs, and established artists. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Applicants must submit 1-5 images. The entry deadline is August 20, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Contact: [email protected]
