2014 National Juried Show: Incite Insight

The Fort Collins Lincoln Center invites visual artists residing in the US to enter "Incite Insight," a juried exhibition for artists to provoke, inspire, and arouse a deeper understanding and vision of the world around us. Guest Juror Ivar Zeile, owner and director of Plus Gallery in Denver, Colorado, will select the work and awards. Representational, conceptual, and work in all media will be considered. Artists may submit no more than three artworks for consideration.

Entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to three artworks per artist. Fort Collins residents with zip codes between 80521-80528 are eligible for a $10 discount. Work sample requirements: minimum 1 image, maximum 6 total samples (images, audio, or video combined). Digital images must be JPEG files, 1920 pixels on the shortest side, no larger than 3 MB in RGB or sRGB color space. Video entries should be saved on DVD in SD format for DVD player and LCD projection playback. Artists submitting other electronic or alternative media should be prepared to loan appropriate equipment for display. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance during shipping. All shipments must include prepaid return shipping labels and be shipped in reusable containers. Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance or retail value while on premises.

Awards: $1,700 in cash prizes, including a Grand Prize of $1,000. Eligibility: Artists 18 years and older whose primary residence is in the United States. Entries must be original work completed in the past two years (since August 2012) and not class assignments. Entry deadline: October 10, 2014, midnight Mountain Time. Notification to artists: October 20, 2014. Artwork delivery: November 10-14, 2014. Hand-delivery for local artists: November 17, 1:00-5:00 p.m. Reception: Friday, November 21, 2014, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Exhibition dates: November 21, 2014 – January 3, 2015. Artwork return: shipped from Lincoln Center by January 9, 2015. Lincoln Center retains a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition.
