About This Call
This exhibition explores the concept of first impressions—ideas, feelings, or opinions formed about something or someone. The show invites artwork that captures the essence of first impressions, whether inspired by travel, new discoveries, or other experiences.
All local and national artists are welcome to submit, including both professional and amateur work in multiple mediums. Accepted formats include photography, fabric, mixed media, paintings, and drawings (oil, acrylic, ink, graphite, pastels, etc.). Work must be able to be hung on a wall. Sculpture and video are not accepted at this time. Maximum size is 4 feet. Work requiring special installation or instructions will not be accepted.
Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submissions must include 1-15 images and up to 3 videos (minimum 1 total sample). The application deadline is January 19, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Contact: [email protected]
