About This Call
The 2014 EAFA Open Exhibition is open to all international artists. Three pieces of artwork can be submitted, with up to three accepted for exhibition. The show runs November 3, 2014 through January 2, 2015 at EAFA Gallery in the Seattle Design Center, 5701 Sixth Avenue South, Suite P292, Seattle, WA 98108.
Entry fees are $30 for one artwork, $35 for two pieces, and $40 for three pieces. All 2-D art must be at least 8 inches x 8 inches (not including frame), with outer dimensions not exceeding 7 feet in either direction. Images must be submitted in JPEG format at 72 pixels per inch with 1920 pixels minimum on the longest side. Online entries only are accepted through CaFÉ. The entry deadline is September 30, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. PST. Artists will be notified by email by October 14, 2014.
Over $1,200 in awards will be given: First Place $500, Second Place $400, Third Place $300, plus additional awards. The juror is Diane Venti, Owner/Curator of Alki Arts. Artwork delivery is November 1, 2014 (9-11 a.m.), and pickup is January 3, 2015 (9-11 a.m.). A reception and awards ceremony will be held November 20, 2014 at 5-9 p.m., with awards at 7:30 p.m.
