About This Call
The Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Galleries at Georgia State University seeks works in all media for the 2014 16th Annual Juried Student Exhibition. Eligibility is limited to current undergraduate and graduate students of the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design. Works will be selected by juror Laura Flusche, Executive Director at Museum of Design Atlanta, and installed in both galleries. The exhibition runs April 17–25, 2014, with a reception on Thursday, April 17, 5–8pm.
Artists may submit up to 2 entries for consideration. Entry is free and submissions are accepted online only through Call for Entry. An artist statement is requested from each artist. Work samples may include up to 2 images, 2 audio files, and/or 2 video files. Accepted works must arrive ready to hang/install and be representative of submitted images. Projected work requiring total darkness cannot be accommodated. Works with audio elements require headphones. No sawtooth hangers or wet paint are permitted. The gallery reserves the right to reject any work that does not adhere to these requirements. All work will be insured for its full value while on site.
