2013 UNC Elements Juried Ceramic Show & Sale

The 2013 UNC Elements Juried Ceramic Show & Sale is a juried exhibition open to any artist who is at least 18 years old. The emphasized theme is dinner place settings. Artists may enter up to three 3-5 piece place settings, with one of the three entries optionally being a separate serving piece such as a teapot, serving bowl, or platter. Each place setting entry must include a dinner plate and cup or mug plus 1-3 additional pieces of the artist's choice to make a set. All artwork must be produced by the submitting artist and completed in the past two years.

The exhibition will be held at the Mariani Gallery, located on the UNC campus at 8th Avenue & 18th Street, Greeley, CO 80639. The exhibition is open to the public from October 15 through November 26, 2013, with an opening reception on Monday, October 14th from 4-6 pm. The entry fee is $30 (non-refundable) and allows submission of up to three works of art. Digital images of artwork must be a non-altered representation of the actual works to be juried. Artists with accepted artwork will be notified by email starting September 1. A $500 Best in Show award will be given as determined by juror Lorna Meaden. All artwork must be available for purchase, with UNC taking a 30% commission fee from the sale price. Payment to artists on any sale will occur 2-4 weeks after the exhibition closes. The artist is responsible for shipping and insurance to and from UNC; UNC is responsible for insurance during the exhibition only.
