2013 Kansas City Artists Coalition Undergraduate College Student Exhibition

This exhibition is open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students in Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas. Missouri schools from the state line to N-S Hwy 63 and Kansas schools from the state line to N-S Hwy 81 are eligible. Students may enter one time only with 1-3 artworks. All media is eligible. Entries must be original work completed in the last two years and not previously shown in KCAC Galleries. 2D work must be framed and wired for installation; works on paper should be framed under plexiglas. Sculpture must not weigh over 150 lbs. If accepted, video artists must provide display equipment for the duration of the exhibition. There is no entry fee.

Submissions are accepted online at www.CallForEntry.org with a minimum of 1 image and maximum of 3 images per artwork. The entry deadline is March 10, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified of acceptance beginning March 21 via email. The juror is Amy Kligman, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Plug Projects. The Leigh Rosenberg Earnest Memorial Fund will award a total of $500 in scholarships.

Accepted works must be hand delivered to Kansas City Artists Coalition on Friday/Saturday, April 5-6 between 11-4 p.m. The opening reception is April 12, 6-8 p.m., and the exhibition ends April 26. Work pickup is April 27 between 11-4 p.m. KCAC will take 30% commission on work sold from the exhibition. KCAC provides insurance for the exhibition.
