2013 Collectors Choice - Sylvia White Gallery

For this exhibition, Sylvia White Gallery has invited 15 of the gallery's best collectors to review artist submissions and select their favorite work. Each collector may select one or more pieces by artists not currently represented in their private collection. Selected artists will participate in the 2013 Collectors Choice exhibition from January 2 to February 9, 2013, at Sylvia White Gallery. Collectors' names will be kept anonymous until the opening reception.

Eligible entries include paintings, mixed media, works on paper, photography, sculpture, installation art, digital media, video, and performance. The call is open to all US and international resident artists at least 18 years of age. Submissions must include 3 to 10 images. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with $5 for each additional image (maximum 10). A 15-minute consultation is available for $50.

Accepted work must be suitably framed, wired, and ready for hanging or installation. Graphics, prints, watercolors, and pastels must be framed under plexiglas (no glass). All selected work must be available for sale. The gallery retains 30% of the selling price. Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping. Work must be picked up by Saturday, February 9, 3-5pm or Wednesday, February 13, 11am-5pm. The opening reception is Saturday, January 5, 3-5pm.
