2013-2014 League for Innovation National Student Art Competition

Each student artist is asked to submit a short written statement (50 words or less) regarding his or her work. The statement may address the specific work submitted to the competition or describe more general concepts that the student is dealing with in his or her art. All statements will be published in the exhibition catalog.

Judging shall be done from 300 dpi digital images taken of the artwork. Any type of artwork may be submitted, including three-dimensional pieces. One view on a digital file should be submitted for flat work; two views on digital files may be submitted for three-dimensional work. Since the quality of the photograph and/or digital file may affect the juror's perception of a piece, it is recommended that uniform guidelines be followed in the photographing of entries.
