2012 PNCA Juried Alumni Exhibition

This exhibition is open to graduates of the BFA, MFA, and CE certificate programs at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. Works must have been created in the last 5 years in any discipline that can be shown in a gallery, including design work and detailed proposals for installations. Student assignment or thesis work should not be submitted.

Each artist may submit digital images of up to three pieces for consideration, including one detail shot per piece, for a total of six images. Video and audio submissions are also welcome, as are complete proposals for installations. A Curriculum Vitae, complete description of the works submitted (including conceptual basis), and answers to a few questions are required. All entries must be received by midnight Mountain Standard Time on June 24, 2012. Applicants will be informed of acceptance via email by July 31, 2012.

All accepted artists will receive a $100 honorarium from the College. Accepted pieces must be received by August 23, 2012 and may be hand-delivered or shipped. All two-dimensional artworks must be framed (excluding wrapped canvas) and ready to hang. Watercolors, pastels, and photographs must be under glass or Plexiglas. Artists are responsible for all shipping charges in both directions, including shipping insurance if desired. Works will be covered by PNCA's insurance policy while on campus. The exhibition opens on September 5, 2012 and runs through October.
