1st Springtime in NYC - Sylvia White Gallery

Sylvia White Gallery is awarding one or more artists an entire wall of booth space (10'x10') at a NYC Art Fair. Up to 5 artists may be selected depending on the number of entries received. Individual artists are not allowed to participate without gallery representation; this opportunity allows selected artists to be represented by SWG.

Eligible entries include paintings, mixed media, works on paper, photography, sculpture, installation art, and digital media with no size restrictions. Artists must be at least 18 years old and can be US or international residents. The entry fee is $45 and includes review of 5 images. Artists may submit up to 3 separate applications (for example, one for painting and one for sculpture). Work will be judged as a whole rather than by individual piece, and the strongest entries will have a cohesive body of work. All work submitted must be available for sale; prices must be set carefully as there will be no changes allowed after submission and sales price will factor into the selection decision.

Artists will be responsible for delivery and return shipping of artwork to and from New York City. All work must be framed, wired, and ready to hang. Although artwork will be handled by professionals, SWG is not responsible for damage; artists are advised to purchase their own fine arts insurance. Work packed in packing peanuts will be returned unopened. The exhibition runs March 25-29, 2015. Artists will be notified by March 1, 2015. The fair attracted over 12,000 visitors and over $1.6 million in sales in the previous year.
