1st OMNIS INTERNATIONAL Los Angeles

Minan Gallery is seeking contemporary art by emerging and mid-career artists for the first OMNIS INTERNATIONAL exhibition. The gallery is located in Los Angeles, California, near LACMA, Museum Row, Miracle Mile, and Culver City. Selected artwork must be for sale. Artists of all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply. Eligibility is open to artists age 18 and older, residing in or outside the U.S.

Entry will be juried by Nancy Pham and four other individuals associated with Minan Gallery. Cash prizes totaling $1,000 will be awarded to first place and honorable mentions. Student entries will automatically be considered for the 2014 Summus Emerging Talent exhibition. Selected artworks will be exhibited at Minan Gallery from June 21 to July 23, 2014. The exhibition is open and free to the public. An opening reception and winners announcement will be held on June 21. Unsold artworks will be returned to artists July 24-31.

Submission requires 4-12 images and an artist statement (up to 2 pages). Entry fee is $35 for 4 images, plus $5 for each additional image. Payment can be made by credit card through CAFE or by check mailed to Minan Gallery, 1051 South Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90019. Student applicants should email a copy of their Student ID or current transcript enrollment to [email protected] for eligibility verification. Jury results will be announced May 31. Invited artworks must be received June 1-19.
