1st Annual Master and Signature Artist Exhibition

The International Society of Acrylic Painters invites ISAP Master and Signature artists with 2018 paid membership to submit work for the 1st Annual Master and Signature Artist Exhibition, held July 1-August 31, 2018 at Cathy Kline Art Gallery in Parkville, Missouri.

Eligibility and Requirements: All entries must be original acrylic works created by the artist with 80% of the surface executed in acrylic medium on any surface. Work must have been created in the past three years and not previously accepted or exhibited in any other ISAP show. No prints, digital work, copied work, or pieces created in workshops or classes are eligible. Identifiable collage pictures must contain only original photographic images taken by the artist. Paintings are limited to 1,200 square inches unframed (30" x 40" = 1,200) and must be wired for hanging. Gallery wrapped canvas is accepted if the painting is continuous on all sides.

Submission Details: Artists may submit 2-5 digital images (minimum 1200 pixels on longest side, JPEG format, 72 ppi/dpi, 5 MB maximum). Entry fee is $35 for 2 images and $10 for each additional image (maximum 5 images). Deadline for entries is April 30, 2018. A panel of five professional artists will jury submissions. At least 75 paintings will be selected. Accepted artists will be notified May 16, 2018. Artwork must arrive at the gallery between June 18-23, 2018 with prepaid return shipping. A $45 handling fee applies for unpacking, displaying, promoting, sales processing, and return of unsold paintings. Artists receive 55% of the sale price. Over $4,000 in cash and donor awards will be distributed, including Best of Show ($1,000), First Place ($800), Second Place ($600), Third Place ($400), Fourth Place ($200), Fifth Place ($100), and four Honorable Mentions ($50 each).
