1st Annual LA Artcore Art Competition and Exhibition 2015

The 1st Annual LA Artcore National Arts Exhibition and Awards 2015 takes place July 2-26, 2015 at LA Artcore Brewery Annex (650 South Avenue 21, Los Angeles, CA 90031). This competition is open to all artists working in the United States. All wall-hanging works may be in any medium. All art must be original, completed within the last two years, and available through the entire run of the show.

Submit one or two digital images via CaFÈ for a $35 entry fee. Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 60 inches in height and 48 inches in width, including frame. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 60 inches in height, 24 inches in width and 24 inches in depth. All works must not exceed 30 lbs and must be wall-mountable. The submission deadline is May 9th, 2015. Juror selections will be announced via email during the week of June 7th, 2015. Winners must hand deliver artwork June 24th-28th. The exhibition opening reception and awards presentation is July 12th, 1-3 p.m. Participants must pick up their works by 7 p.m. Sunday July 26th, or between 9-3 p.m. on Monday July 27th.

Awards: 1st Place $1,000, 2nd Place $750, 3rd Place $500, and Honorable Mentions $200. All works of art will be for sale unless labeled "Not for Sale" or "NFS." LA Artcore will assess a 35% commission fee at time of sale, with 65% going to the artist. Jurors are Laddie John Dill, Andy Moses, and Ave Pildas. Contact: [email protected].
