1st Annual - Birds, Bees and Everything in Between

Las Laguna Gallery is accepting submissions for an exhibition featuring all things great and small. Works must feature animals from any kingdom, including real or fantasy subjects. Animal subjects can include mammals, birds, and any fish or animals that live in the water.

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older working in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, graphite, color pencil, charcoal, traditional photography, digital, or mixed media. All fine art, contemporary, and modern works will be considered. Local, national, and international artists, both professional and amateur, are welcome to submit.

All 2-dimensional entries, with the exception of oils and acrylics, must be framed with either glass or plexiglass. Unframed canvases are acceptable if gallery wrapped with no staples visible. Frames and canvases must be wired and ready to hang with two eye screws and steel wire. Artwork and frames must be free of scuffs and scratches. Saw-tooth hangers, clip frames, or unstable frames will not be accepted. Work must be able to be hung on a wall. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted. Size limitation is 48 inches in any direction. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-15 images. Exhibition dates: August 7-24, 2014.
