18th Annual ISAP International Open Exhibition

The 18th Annual ISAP International Open Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older working in the acrylic medium on any surface. The exhibition will be held in Paso Robles, California from July 30 – August 23, 2015. Artists may submit 1 to 3 images for consideration. Entry fee is $40 for up to 3 paintings; ISAP members receive a $5 discount. One painting per artist will be considered for final acceptance into the show.

Cash and materials prizes totaling at least $8,000 will be awarded. The juror for acceptance and awards is Myrna Wacknov. For ISAP members in good standing, acceptance to this physical exhibition may yield Signature Membership status. All work must have been created in the past three years and not exhibited in any previous ISAP show. Minimum size is 8"x10" (80 sq. in.); maximum framed size is 16"x22" (352 sq. in.). All work must be for sale with a 40% commission collected by the host gallery. Use only plexiglass for framed work on paper. Gallery wrap canvas requires no frame but sides must be painted.

Entry submission opens March 1, 2015 and closes May 16, 2015 at midnight MDT. Juror selections will be complete by June 2, 2015, with notification of acceptance via email. The roster of accepted artists will be posted on the ISAP website by June 14, 2015. Shipped paintings must arrive between July 20-24, 2015. Walk-in deliveries of accepted paintings are available July 26, 2015 from 3-6 PM. Awards will be announced at a public reception on August 1, 2015 at 5:30 PM. Walk-in painting pick-up is available August 23, 2015 from 3-6 PM. Return shipping begins August 24, 2015. The exhibition venue requires a $25 unpacking and packing fee with prepaid shipping forms for return of work.
