18th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show

The 18th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show invites photographers to submit up to 3 original images for exhibition. Photographers must be local to Colorado and able to deliver and pick up their work in person at the Lone Tree Arts Center. The entry fee is $35, non-refundable.

Eligible images must be originals executed and altered by the photographer only, completed within the last 2 years (2018-2020), not previously shown in a Lone Tree Photo Show, and must be for sale. Images should be non-offensive to a general audience of all ages. Submissions are accepted in the following categories: Architecture, Astrophotography, Landscape, Portraits, and Still Life. Images will be juried through a blind jury review process by Erik Holladay-McCann. Total cash awards are estimated at $3,350, including first, second, and third place in each category, Best of Show, and People's Choice. Award winners receive gallery space for several weeks after the show.

All images must be delivered framed and ready to hang, meeting gallery quality standards. Framed images must not exceed 48x48" or weigh more than 35lbs and must include picture hanging wire suitable for the Arakawa Hanging System. Drop-off is March 30th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. The exhibition runs March 31st through May 26th, 2020. Pick-up is May 27th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. The Lone Tree Arts Center retains 20% commission on all sales.
