17th Annual ISAP Open International Exhibition

The 17th Annual ISAP Open International Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older working in the acrylic medium on any surface. The exhibition will be held in Paso Robles, California from July 31 to August 24, 2014. Cash and materials prizes totaling at least $8,000 will be awarded. For ISAP members in good standing, acceptance to this physical exhibition may yield Signature Membership status.

Artists may enter up to two paintings, with one painting per artist considered for final acceptance. Entry fees are $30 for one painting or $35 for two paintings, plus a $5 media fee. Work must have been created in the past three years and not exhibited in any previous ISAP show. All work must be 80% acrylic on any 2D surface with a minimum size of 8"x10" and maximum framed size of 16"x22". All work must be for sale with a 40% commission collected by the host gallery. Submissions must include 1 to 2 JPEG images with minimum 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 3 MB maximum file size.

Entry submission opens March 1, 2014 and closes May 3, 2014 at midnight MDT. Juror selections will be completed by May 28, 2014, with notification of acceptance via email. The roster of accepted artists will be posted on the ISAP website by June 6, 2014. Shipped paintings must arrive between July 21-25, 2014. Walk-in deliveries are available July 27, 2014 from noon to 3 PM. Awards will be announced at a public reception on August 2, 2014 at 5:30 PM in The Showroom gallery, followed by Art After Dark festivities. Walk-in painting pick-up is available August 24, 2014 from 3-6 PM. Return shipping begins August 25, 2014. The exhibition venue requires a $25 unpacking and packing fee with prepaid shipping forms; hand-delivered entries are not subject to this fee. The juror is Linda Doll, aws, nws.
