17th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show

The 17th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show is a juried photography exhibition held at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Photographers must be local to Colorado and eligible to deliver and pick up work in person.

Eligible photographers may submit up to 3 original images completed within the last 2 years that have not been shown in a previous Lone Tree Photo Show. Images must be for sale and non-offensive to a general audience. Submissions are made via CaFE with a $35 non-refundable entry fee. Categories include Abstract, Astrophotography, Landscape, Street/Urban, and Wildlife/Animals. Images are juried through a blind review process, with total cash awards estimated at $3,350. Awards include first, second, and third place in each category, plus Best of Show and People's Choice. Award-winning photographers receive gallery space at the Lone Tree Arts Center for several weeks following the show.

All images must be professionally framed and ready to hang, meeting gallery quality standards, and must not exceed 48 inches framed or weigh more than 35 pounds. Images cannot display the artist's name on the front. The exhibition runs from March 13 to May 12, 2019. Drop-off is March 12 from 7:30am-10:30am, and pick-up is May 13 from 7:30am-10am.
