16th National Juried Members Exhibition - PAPNM

Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) will host its 16th National Juried Members Exhibition, an annual art show and sale of original two-dimensional en plein air works at Legends of the West Gallery in Santa Fe from August 31 to September 30, 2024. Members are encouraged to submit their best plein air work.

Eligibility is limited to PAPNM members in good standing working in two-dimensional mediums: oil media (traditional and water-mixable), wet media (acrylic, watercolor, and gouache), dry media (pastel), and encaustics. All work must be at least 80% completed en plein air and painted after January 2022. Works must be original concept painted solely by the entering artist and cannot be copied from other artists' work or published photos. Works previously shown in PAPNM juried member exhibitions or created in instructional settings are not eligible. Works previously showcased in PAPNM online contests are eligible.

Up to 2 paintings may be selected for exhibition from each artist based on juror scoring. All accepted work must be available for sale and sturdily framed or gallery wrapped with D-rings and wire. Maximum size for framed work is 396 square inches (18" x 22", with maximum framed width of 22 inches). Minimum price per accepted work is $400. Entry fee is $42 for the first image and $10 for each additional image (up to 4 images total). Jury results will be emailed the week of June 17, 2024. PAPNM membership for 2024 must be current with dues paid in full before submitting.
