16th Annual National Juried Exhibition

This juried competition is open to all artists in the United States only. Artists may enter up to 3 digital images of original soft pastel paintings (no less than 80% soft pastel; oil pastels not permitted). Work must be original and completed after January 1, 2022. Classroom or workshop work is not allowed. If painted from a photograph, it must be the artist's own reference. Paintings cannot have been previously exhibited in any Pastel Society of New Hampshire exhibition, including the PSNH member show. Paintings that have received top awards (Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Prize) at any International or National Juried Show as of September 9th are not eligible. No more than one painting per artist will be accepted.

All paintings must be for sale; no NFS (not for sale) works are permitted. Entry fees are $40 for PSNH members and $50 for non-members. Submit high-quality JPEG image files only, at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images must be cropped to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background distractions, and must be oriented correctly. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of September 9, 2024. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
