About This Call
The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles open to a variety of mediums and styles, including but not limited to plein air painting. The competition is international and features 19 categories including Craft/Traditional Arts, Drawing, and Painting.
Each month, top master artists, museum directors, and gallery owners serve as judges. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition, where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. Over $50,000 in total cash prizes are awarded annually, with $2,250 awarded per month. Winners also receive exposure and recognition through PleinAir Magazine's publications, websites, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Entry fees are $40 for the first entry and $16 for each additional entry. Early Bird Registration ends December 15, 2025, offering 25% off every entry. Artists may enter as many paintings as they like in as many categories as they like. The submission deadline is December 31, 2025.
