15th Annual Photobook Exhibition

The Griffin Museum recognizes the importance of the craft of photobooks and celebrates this unique form of artistry. The 15th Annual Self-Published Photobook exhibition will showcase up to 50 books in the Griffin Gallery during the summer of 2025. The exhibition will be both online and in person, with book covers and links to participants' websites available online to direct patrons to their works.

Entrants may submit up to three different self-published photobooks of any size, format, or style. Submissions must include a PDF of the photobook (2MB compressed), the cover of the book, and up to 5 images from the book for press, promotion, and collateral use if selected. Cover images and additional images must be JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB, and in sRGB color profile. The only eligibility requirement is that photobooks must be self-published, and entrants must have a printed copy (hard or soft cover) available if selected for the exhibition. Anyone is welcome to enter.

The exhibition will be juried by Karen Davis, Curator and Co-owner of Davis Orton Gallery, and Crista Dix, Executive Director of the Griffin Museum. Artists included in the exhibition will have the option to participate in a virtual artist talk on June 18, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. EST. Additional talks and panels will be held throughout the summer celebrating the artists' creativity. Entry fee is $35.00. Jury dates are April 30 - May 15, 2025.
