15th Annual National Juried Exhibition

This juried competition is open to all artists in the United States only. Artists may enter up to 3 digital images of original soft pastel paintings (no less than 80% soft pastel; oil pastels not permitted). Work must be original and completed after January 1, 2021. Classroom or workshop work is not allowed. If painted from a photograph, it must be the artist's own reference. Paintings cannot have been previously exhibited in any Pastel Society of New Hampshire exhibition, including the PSNH member show. Paintings that have received top awards (Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Prize) at any International or National Juried Show as of September 11th are not eligible. All paintings must be for sale; no NFS (not for sale) works are accepted. No more than one painting per artist will be accepted.

Entry fees are $40 for PSNH members and $50 for non-members. Submit high-quality JPEG image files only (PNG and TIFF formats are not accepted). Images must be at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge and no larger than 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself with no visible matting, frames, or background distractions. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of September 11, 2023. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
