14th Master Circle Division

This is a juried pastel competition open to members of any IAPS member society. Artworks must be created in dry pastel, with the top layer at least 80% dry application. Mixed media works are accepted if predominantly dry pastel.

Artwork requirements: Works must be original and not copied from other artists or published materials. All artwork must be originally drawn and not created on top of any photographic image. Work done in classroom or workshop scenarios is ineligible. Work may not have been accepted in any previous IAPS Exhibitions (excluding IAPS Member Society shows). Paintings of nudes are acceptable. Work may be for sale or marked NFS.

Awards include: Prix de Pastel ($2,000), Gold Award in Honor of Daniel Greene ($1,000), Silver Award in Honor of Elizabeth Mowry ($600), Bronze Award in Honor of Bill Creevy ($400), and four Awards of Excellence ($200 each). Submissions must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge, with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline.
