About This Call
Gallery 110, a nonprofit gallery in Seattle's Pioneer Square, invites emerging and established artists to submit original artwork in any two or three-dimensional media for the 14th Annual International Juried Exhibition. Since 2010, Gallery 110's annual juried exhibition has showcased work chosen by a prominent juror with ties to the artistic community of the Pacific Northwest. The gallery's location and reputation offer artists exposure to professional reviews, access to Seattle's Pioneer Square gallery district, and First Thursday Art Walk.
The juror for this year is Greg Robinson, Cynthia Sears Endowed Chief Curator at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. Robinson has held positions including executive director of Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, director of William Traver Gallery in Tacoma, and executive director of the Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner, WA. Finalists' works will be displayed at Gallery 110 from February 1 to March 2, 2024. The juror will award first, second, and third place prizes of $1,000, $500, and $300, with an additional People's Choice award of $200.
Entry fee is $40, which allows submission of up to three images. An additional $10 fee applies for each additional image, up to 20 images total. Artists must be 18 years or older, and artwork must be original works created by the submitting artist. Selected artists are responsible for framing and delivery of work to Gallery 110 by January 28, 2024. Delivery and return shipping charges are the artist's responsibility. Finalists will be notified by email and phone by December 2-8, 2023, and must return signed consignment agreements within 7 days of notification. The artist reception and juror's awards ceremony is February 2, 2024, from 4-5:30 p.m. For questions, contact [email protected] or call 206.624.9336 (Thursday-Saturday, 12-5 p.m.).
