14th Annual Fidelity Investments All Media Juried Exhibition: Growth

The Providence Art Club invites living New England artists to submit work for the 14th Annual Fidelity Investments All Media Juried Exhibition: Growth. The theme of growth is open to interpretation and may extend to population growth, economic growth, environmental growth, or urban growth. Recent works in all media are encouraged. Entries must be original works completed within the last 4 years and available for sale. The entry fee is $20, and artists may submit 1-3 images.

Jurors include Diana Gaston (Associate Curator, Fidelity Investments), Judith Tannenbaum (Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art, Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design), and Steven Zevitas (publisher of New American Paintings and owner of Steven Zevitas Gallery, Boston). Awards include three cash prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250, plus one purchase award selected by the Fidelity curator for the company's permanent collection.

The exhibition runs March 2 - April 6, 2013. Accepted artists will be notified by February 17. Work must be delivered March 5-9 between 12-4 pm. A reception for the public is scheduled for March 18, 2-4 pm, with a private reception for artists and awards ceremony on March 19, 5:30-7:30 pm. Work pickup is April 9-13, 12-4 pm. Sales commission is 25% for Providence Art Club members and 40% for non-members. The Providence Art Club carries insurance covering fire, theft, and breakage at 2/3 of the sale price, not to exceed $250.
