About This Call
This juried small works exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Annual Open Exhibition and will take place in the Moran Gallery at Salmagundi. Any woman artist may submit one original work created within the last 3 years.
Eligible works must be smaller than 14" on any side including the frame. Eligible media include Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Drawing, Graphics, Collage, and Mixed Media. All 2-D work must be framed, wired and ready for hanging. Gallery wrap is permitted. Plastic glazing is required if metal frames are used and is recommended if work is shipped. Sculptors must submit 2 views (except for wall hangings) and all sculptures must be less than 10 lbs. and no more than 14" high or wide.
Ineligible work includes giclees, photography, computer generated images, crafts, work done under instruction, derived from published photographs, previously shown in a CLWAC Annual Open Juried Exhibition, or created using artificial intelligence. Work by members shown in the Members' Exhibition is eligible, but artwork winning a prize in the Members' Exhibition is ineligible to win a prize in the Annual Open Juried Exhibition in the same year. Derivative work of artwork shown in a previous CLWAC Annual Open Juried Exhibition is not eligible.
Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to include only the artwork itself without mat, frame, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results.
Entry fees are: Juried Member $45, Associate Member $50, Non-Member $65 for one entry. Entry deadline is September 2, 2025. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
For questions about the exhibition, contact Rebecca Rosenheck ([email protected]) or Susan Jarecky ([email protected]).
