125th International Exhibition of Works on Paper

The 125th International Exhibition of Works on Paper is a juried exhibition accepting original artwork on paper in various media including watercolor, soft pastels, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, pen & ink, gouache, acrylic, and hand-pulled prints. Clay prints on Reemay using water-soluble mediums and paper collage are also accepted. Oils, oil pastels, photographic, digital, and computer-generated works are not eligible. All work must be original and created within the last 3 years (artwork produced before June 2022 will not be accepted). AI-generated works are not eligible.

Eligibility requirements include being 18 or older and not having previously exhibited the work in any PWCS juried exhibition. Artwork cannot be displayed concurrently in other shows, live or online. All entries must be for sale with prices set at submission and cannot be changed. Framed artwork cannot exceed 42 inches in height or width, with no mat side less than 10 inches unless the image area exceeds 100 square inches. Entry fees are $45 for PWCS members and $55 for non-members. Awards include a $2,000 PWCS Award for Best in Show, a $1,500 Elizabeth Shober Hooper Award for Excellence in Presentation & Technique, and a $1,000 PWCS Founders Award.

Submissions must include high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. All accepted works must be prepared for hanging and shipped with pre-paid return shipping labels to the Wallingford Community Art Center, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA 19086.
