11th Annual Texas Juried Exhibition

Artspace111 and the Love Texas Art Foundation announce an open call for submissions for the 11th Annual Texas Juried Exhibition, juried by Maggie Adler, Curator of Paintings, Sculpture, and Works on Paper at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The exhibition will be held July 27 – August 24, 2024, with an opening reception on July 27th. Contemporary 2D and 3D works are eligible for acceptance. The total 2024 prize amount is $15,000, with a $10,000 first prize that includes the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition in 2025. Additional prizes include $2,000 (Second Prize), $1,000 (Third Prize), and $500 each for four Honorable Mentions. Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on July 27, 2024.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and residing in Texas. All artwork must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Artspace111. 2D work should not exceed 60 inches wide or 90 inches high (framed). 3D wall-hanging work cannot exceed 60 inches wide; free-standing indoor work cannot exceed 72 inches in any dimension. All submitted works must be for sale. Entry fee is $35 for one image, with additional entries at $5.00 each (limit 6 submissions). Submissions must include 1-6 images and/or videos. Artists must submit through CallForEntry.org and include a short artist statement.

Timeline: Call deadline is June 3, 2024. Juror deliberations occur June 10-21, 2024. Notification of acceptance will be by July 1, 2024. Artwork receiving is July 18-21, 2024, with in-person drop-off times available. Shipped artwork will be returned by September 4, 2024, with in-person pick-up available August 27-31, 2024. Work will be insured at Artspace111 but not in transit. Sales of artwork will be processed through Artspace111 with a 50/50 split between artist and gallery. $5.00 from each submission will be donated to the Love Texas Art Foundation.
