11th Annual HWD (Height x Width x Depth) Juried Sculpture Exhibition

The 11th Annual HWD (Height x Width x Depth) Juried Sculpture Exhibition is a regional juried exhibition open to artists residing in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia. Entrants may submit up to three works of art per entry, with multiple entries permitted. All types of three-dimensional media are accepted including wood, fiber, stone, metal, glass, and mixed media. Artwork must be able to fit through the 79 x 34 inch gallery entryway and must have been created within the last four years. The entry fee is $20 for up to three artworks. Work samples should include a minimum of 1 image and a maximum of 9 images total (up to 3 images per artwork), with optional audio and video files (up to 3 each).

The entry deadline is Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:59pm MDT. Results will be released by Friday, August 11 via email. Accepted work drop-off is scheduled for Saturday, August 19 (10am–3pm) and Monday, August 21 (4–9pm), or shipped artwork may arrive between August 14 and 21. The exhibition runs Monday, August 28 through Friday, October 6, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 31 from 6–8pm. Artwork pickup is available Saturday, October 7 (10am–3pm) and Monday, October 9 (4–9pm).

The 2017 juror is Virginia Kistler, an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture and photography. United Art and Education awards totaling $1,100 will be distributed at the juror's discretion and announced at 7pm during the opening reception. Rosewood Gallery encourages sales and retains a 30% commission. All work is insured during installation and display. Artists shipping work are responsible for shipping charges both ways and must provide pre-paid return labels. Accepted artworks must be ready to hang/install upon arrival and labeled with the artist's name and artwork title.
